To adjust the blade height, locate the blade height adjustment wheel on the front of the saw. Turn the wheel clockwise to raise the blade and counterclockwise to lower it. Ensure the saw is powered off before making adjustments.
If the blade is not cutting straight, check the alignment of the blade with the miter slot. Adjust the blade alignment by loosening the mounting bolts and repositioning the blade parallel to the miter slot. Tighten the bolts securely after adjustment.
To change the blade, unplug the saw and remove the throat plate. Use the provided wrench to loosen the arbor nut, then remove the old blade. Install the new blade ensuring the teeth face the correct direction, and securely tighten the arbor nut. Reattach the throat plate.
Regularly clean the table surface with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Remove sawdust from the motor housing and other components using compressed air. Lubricate the moving parts with a suitable lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
If the motor does not start, check the power supply and ensure the saw is plugged in correctly. Verify that the power switch is functional. Inspect the circuit breaker and reset it if tripped. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
Use a push stick or push block to safely guide narrow pieces through the blade, keeping your hands away from the cutting area. Ensure the rip fence is properly aligned and the blade guard is in place before starting the cut.
Always wear safety goggles and hearing protection. Keep the work area clean and free from obstructions. Ensure all safety guards are in place and functioning. Never reach over the blade and always disconnect the saw from power before making adjustments.
Regularly clean the blade to remove resin and pitch build-up. Use appropriate blades for different materials and avoid cutting materials that may damage the blade. Store blades in a dry place and avoid exposure to moisture.
The maximum cutting depth of the CTS12 Table Saw is approximately 3 inches at 90 degrees and 2 inches at 45 degrees. Ensure the blade height is correctly set for the desired depth before cutting.
To align the rip fence, loosen the locking knobs and adjust the fence parallel to the miter slot. Use a square to ensure accuracy. Once aligned, tighten the knobs securely to lock the fence in place.
