To change the blade, first unplug the saw. Use the provided wrench to loosen the arbor nut, then remove the old blade. Insert the new blade with the teeth pointing in the direction of rotation, and securely tighten the arbor nut.
Ensure the base plate is parallel to the blade by adjusting the angle settings. Use a square to verify alignment against the blade, making adjustments as necessary before tightening the locking mechanisms.
Check the power supply to ensure the saw is plugged in. Inspect the power cord for damage. If the saw still doesn't start, examine the motor brushes for wear and replace if necessary.
Regularly clean the saw to remove dust and debris. Check and tighten all screws and bolts. Inspect the blade for sharpness and replace if dull. Lubricate moving parts as instructed in the user manual.
Locate the depth adjustment lever on the side of the saw. Loosen the lever, adjust the base plate to the desired cutting depth, and then re-tighten the lever to secure the setting.
Always wear safety goggles and hearing protection. Ensure the work area is clean and stable. Keep hands away from the blade path and use the saw's safety guard.
Use a guide rail or straight edge to assist in keeping cuts straight. Make sure the saw blade is sharp and properly aligned with the base plate.
Stop using the saw immediately and allow it to cool down. Check for any obstructions or dull blades that may cause excessive load. Ensure proper ventilation around the motor.
This saw is primarily designed for wood cutting. If cutting metal is necessary, ensure you have the appropriate blade and use extreme caution. Refer to the user manual for any specific instructions regarding metal cutting.
Clean the saw thoroughly to remove any debris. Store it in a dry place to prevent rust. Keep the saw in its original case or cover it to protect it from dust and moisture.
