To change the blade, unplug the saw, raise the blade guard, loosen the arbor nut with a wrench, remove the old blade, and replace it with a new one. Ensure the teeth are facing in the correct direction before tightening the arbor nut and lowering the blade guard.
The maximum cutting capacity of the Clarke MBS600C is 305mm at 90 degrees and 215mm at 45 degrees.
To adjust the bevel angle, loosen the bevel lock lever located at the back of the saw, tilt the saw to the desired angle using the bevel scale, and then tighten the lever to secure the angle.
First, check if the saw is properly plugged in and the power switch is turned on. If it still doesn't start, inspect the fuse or circuit breaker and ensure the power outlet is functional. If problems persist, consult the manual or contact customer service.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 20 hours of use. This includes cleaning the sawdust, checking the blade for sharpness, and inspecting the power cord for damage. Lubricate moving parts as necessary.
The Clarke MBS600C is primarily designed for woodworking. Cutting metal is not recommended unless the proper blade designed for metal cutting is used, and even then, caution is advised.
To ensure accurate cuts, regularly calibrate the saw by checking the alignment of the blade with the fence and the miter gauge. Use a square to verify accuracy and adjust as necessary.
Always wear safety goggles and ear protection. Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped, keep hands away from the blade, and never remove safety guards. Disconnect the power when changing blades or performing maintenance.
Connect a vacuum or dust collection system to the dust port on the saw. Regularly clean the area around the saw to prevent dust buildup.
If the blade wobbles, first ensure that the arbor nut is tightly secured. Check if the blade is warped or damaged and replace it if necessary. If wobbling persists, consult a professional technician for further inspection.
