To change the blade, first ensure the saw is unplugged. Use the provided wrench to loosen the arbor bolt, remove the outer washer, and replace the blade. Ensure the teeth are facing the correct direction before securing it with the washer and bolt.
To align the saw, adjust the bevel and miter angles to zero degrees. Use a square to check the alignment of the blade to the fence and table. Adjust the miter detent plate and bevel stop if necessary for precision.
If the saw does not start, check the power supply and ensure the plug is connected. Inspect the fuse or circuit breaker and replace or reset if needed. Also, ensure the safety switch is engaged properly.
Routinely clean the sawdust from the saw, lubricate the moving parts with appropriate oil, check the tightness of the bolts, and inspect the blade for any wear or damage.
To adjust the bevel angle, unlock the bevel lock handle, tilt the saw head to the desired angle using the bevel scale, and then lock the handle to secure the angle.
If the blade is producing rough cuts, check if it is dull or damaged and replace it if necessary. Ensure the blade is suitable for the material being cut and that it is properly aligned.
The Clarke MBS600B is primarily designed for cutting wood. If you need to cut metal, use a suitable blade designed for metal and ensure the material is securely clamped.
Always wear safety goggles and hearing protection. Ensure the workpiece is properly secured and keep your hands clear of the blade. Follow all safety instructions provided in the manual.
The Clarke MBS600B can cut up to 200mm wide at 90 degrees and 140mm wide at 45 degrees. Ensure the material does not exceed the maximum capacity to maintain safety and precision.
To replace the carbon brushes, first unplug the saw. Remove the brush caps located on either side of the motor housing, replace the worn brushes with new ones, and securely fasten the caps back.
