To set the time on your Citizen E690 watch, pull the crown out to the first click. Turn the crown to adjust the time. Push the crown back in when finished.
If your watch stops working, ensure it is exposed to sufficient light as it may need recharging. If it still doesn't work, check for any obstructions or consult the user manual for troubleshooting steps.
To reset the chronograph, ensure it is stopped. Press the "Reset" button, usually located at the 4 o'clock position, to return the chronograph hands to zero.
Citizen E690 watches are equipped with Eco-Drive technology and do not require battery changes. They charge via exposure to light.
The Citizen E690 watch is typically water-resistant up to 100 meters. However, always check your specific model's specifications for accuracy.
To adjust the bracelet, locate the pins on the links. Use a small tool to push the pins out and remove links as needed. Reassemble the bracelet by reinserting the pins.
Place the watch under a light source for a few hours. If the watch resumes normal operation, it is charging properly. If not, consult a professional for inspection.
Pull the crown out to the first click and rotate it to adjust the date. Ensure you do not set the date between 9 PM and 3 AM to avoid damaging the date mechanism.
Clean your watch using a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using any chemicals or submerging the watch in water, especially if it is not water-resistant.
It is not recommended to wear your Citizen E690 watch in the shower, as soaps and hot water can damage the seals and affect water resistance over time.
