Ensure the watch is fully charged by exposing it to direct sunlight for several hours. If the problem persists, reset the watch by pulling the crown out, holding the buttons simultaneously, and setting the time again.
Pull the crown out to the first click, rotate it clockwise to adjust the date, and ensure the watch is not set between 9 PM and 3 AM to avoid damaging the mechanism.
Clean your Citizen 529 Watch with a soft, dry cloth. For metal bands, use a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid exposing the watch to chemicals, perfumes, and extreme temperatures.
Citizen 529 Watches are typically solar-powered. If your watch stops, expose it to light. If the battery needs replacement, contact a certified service center to avoid voiding the warranty.
If the chronograph does not reset to zero, pull the crown out to the second position, press the buttons to move the hands back to zero, and then push the crown back in.
Check the watch's water resistance rating. If it is rated 100 meters or more, it is suitable for swimming. Ensure the crown is fully secured to maintain water resistance.
To set the alarm, pull the crown to the first position, rotate it to set the alarm time, and ensure the alarm function is activated. Refer to the manual for specific button operations.
For minor scratches, use a polishing compound designed for watch crystals. For deep scratches, it's best to have the glass replaced by an authorized service center.
It's recommended to have your Citizen 529 Watch serviced every 3-5 years by an authorized service provider to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
