To set the time, pull the crown out to the first click position and rotate it to adjust the time. Ensure the correct AM/PM setting by rotating the hands past 12. Push the crown back to the normal position once the time is set.
Ensure the watch is exposed to sufficient light. Place it under direct sunlight or a strong artificial light source for several hours. If the issue persists, consider checking the battery or contacting Citizen support.
Pull the crown out to the first click and rotate it counterclockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 1 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change.
The second hand skipping every two seconds indicates the battery is low. Recharge the watch by placing it in a well-lit area. If the problem continues, the battery might need replacement.
Press and hold the reset button with a fine-tipped object for a few seconds. This will initialize the watch and reset all settings to default.
The Citizen D710 watch typically uses an Eco-Drive rechargeable battery that is charged by light and does not require regular replacement.
The watch is fully charged when the second hand moves smoothly without skipping. If unsure, leave the watch under a light source for an additional 2-3 hours.
The Citizen D710 watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters, suitable for swimming and snorkeling but not for scuba diving.
Use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water and mild soap to clean the watch. Avoid immersing it in water and ensure it is fully dry after cleaning.
Ensure the alarm is correctly set and activated. Check the volume settings and test the alarm in a quiet environment. If issues persist, consult the user manual or contact support.
