To set the time, pull the crown out to the second click position, then rotate it to adjust the hands to the desired time. Push the crown back in to finish setting.
If your watch stops, it may need charging. Place it under direct sunlight for a few hours. If it still doesn't work, check for other issues or consult a professional technician.
Pull the crown out to the first click position and rotate it to set the date. Ensure you do this when the time is not between 9 PM and 3 AM to avoid damaging the mechanism.
To maintain water resistance, ensure the crown is fully pushed in and avoid pressing buttons when the watch is wet. Have the watch's water resistance checked annually by a professional.
Clean your watch using a soft, damp cloth. For metal bands, use a small brush and mild soap to remove dirt. Avoid chemicals that may damage the watch's finish.
Your watch may be running slow due to insufficient charge or a need for servicing. Charge it fully and monitor its performance. If the issue persists, have it serviced by a certified technician.
Citizen 66xx watches are often Eco-Drive and do not require a traditional battery replacement. If there are issues with charging, consult a professional for assessment.
Check the power reserve indicator if available, or ensure the watch has had ample exposure to light for at least 5-6 hours under direct sunlight.
If the hands are misaligned, perform a manual reset by following the alignment instructions in the user manual or have it corrected by a professional.
It's recommended to have your watch serviced every 3-5 years to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
