Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 91 RON (87 AKI) to ensure optimal performance and engine longevity.
To maintain the air filter, remove it from the air box, inspect for debris or damage, clean it using compressed air if applicable, or replace it if necessary. Ensure it is properly seated when reinstalling.
The recommended tire pressure for front tires is 20 psi (140 kPa) and for rear tires is 15 psi (105 kPa). Always check the pressure when the tires are cold.
The engine oil should be changed every 500 miles (800 kilometers) or every 6 months, whichever comes first. Use oil that meets the manufacturer's specifications.
Check the battery connections, ensure the fuel valve is on, verify the kill switch is in the run position, and inspect the spark plug for fouling. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
To adjust the suspension, locate the preload adjusters on the shocks. Turning the adjusters clockwise increases stiffness, while counterclockwise decreases it. Adjust according to your riding preference and load.
Inspect the brake fluid level and top up if low, check for air in the brake lines and bleed if necessary, and ensure the brake pads are not worn out.
Clean the ATV thoroughly, change the oil, fill the gas tank and add a fuel stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and store the ATV in a dry place. Cover it to protect it from dust and moisture.
Ensure the engine is cool, then remove the radiator cap and check the coolant level. It should be at the base of the filler neck. Top off with the recommended coolant mixture if necessary.
Ensure the radiator is not blocked, check coolant levels, inspect the radiator fan for operation, and verify that the thermostat is functioning correctly. If issues persist, contact a professional technician.
