For the CFMOTO CF500-B 2014 ATV, it is recommended to use a high-quality 10W-40 synthetic motorcycle oil that meets API SL or higher specifications.
The air filter should be inspected every 100 hours of operation or every 6 months. Clean it if necessary, and replace it annually or if it's damaged.
The recommended tire pressure for the CFMOTO CF500-B 2014 ATV is 5 psi for the front tires and 5 psi for the rear tires. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
If the ATV does not start, check the battery voltage and connections, ensure there is enough fuel, inspect the spark plug, and verify that the kill switch is in the correct position.
After riding through water, inspect the air filter and intake system for water intrusion, check the brakes, and lubricate all pivot points and cables to prevent rust.
To adjust the suspension, use the adjustment collars on the shock absorbers to set the preload according to your weight and riding conditions, ensuring both sides are adjusted equally.
If the ATV overheats, check the coolant level and radiator for obstructions. Ensure the cooling fan is operational and the thermostat is functioning correctly.
The drive belt should be inspected every 500 miles or annually. Replace it if there are any signs of wear, cracks, or damage.
To change the spark plug, remove the spark plug cap, use a spark plug socket to unscrew the old plug, install the new plug ensuring it is properly gapped, and reattach the cap.
For off-season storage, clean the ATV thoroughly, stabilize the fuel, disconnect the battery, elevate the tires, and cover the ATV to protect it from dust and moisture.
