Candy LS DFI PLAN User Manual

Ensure that you do not block spray arms with large items. Place plates and larger items on the bottom rack, and smaller items like cups and glasses on the top rack. Utensils should be placed in the designated cutlery basket.
Check if the dishwasher is properly plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Verify that the water supply is turned on.
To clean the filters, remove the bottom rack to access the filter assembly. Twist and lift the cylindrical filter out, then wash it under running water to remove debris. Reassemble the filter before placing it back.
Use a high-quality dishwasher detergent compatible with your water hardness. Avoid using regular dish soap as it may cause excessive suds and poor cleaning performance.
Spots can be caused by hard water. Ensure you are using a rinse aid to help reduce spotting. Check the water softener setting if your model includes one.
Clean the spray arms every 3 to 6 months. Remove them by unscrewing or unclipping, then rinse under water to clear any clogs. Use a toothpick or similar tool for stubborn debris.
Noises can be due to items touching the spray arm or a clogged filter. Ensure dishes are loaded correctly and clean the filter. If the noise persists, the pump or motor may require inspection.
Use a rinse aid to enhance drying results. Ensure that the "Heated Dry" option is selected if available. Allow dishes to cool slightly before unloading to prevent moisture from forming.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filters, inspecting spray arms, checking door seals for debris, and wiping down the interior with a damp cloth. Perform these tasks monthly.
To reset the dishwasher, hold down the "Start" or "Reset" button for a few seconds until the machine resets. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions related to your model.
