To start a drying cycle, load your clothes into the drum, select the desired program using the control knob, then press the start button. Ensure the door is securely closed before starting.
First, check if the dryer is plugged in and the power socket is functional. Next, ensure the door is closed properly. If these are fine, inspect the circuit breaker or fuse box for any tripped breakers or blown fuses.
To clean the lint filter, open the dryer door and locate the filter at the bottom. Pull it out, remove any lint by hand or with a soft brush, and then reinsert it securely before using the dryer again.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lint filter after each use, checking and cleaning the exhaust duct monthly, and inspecting the drum seal for any signs of wear or damage.
If the dryer is not heating, ensure that the selected cycle includes heat. Check if the lint filter and exhaust vent are clean and unobstructed. If the issue persists, there may be a problem with the heating element or thermostat, requiring professional inspection.
To adjust the drying time, select a manual time setting using the control knob. Refer to the user manual for guidance on which settings allow time adjustments.
To prevent wrinkles, promptly remove clothes from the dryer at the end of the cycle. You can also use an anti-crease program or select a lower heat setting to reduce the chance of wrinkles forming.
Ensure the dryer is level and stable on the floor. Check for any foreign objects in the drum or filter area. If the noise persists, inspect the drum rollers or bearings for wear and replace them if necessary.
It is not recommended to dry shoes in the dryer as this can damage both the shoes and the appliance. Instead, air-dry shoes or use a specialized drying rack designed for use in dryers.
Check the power supply and ensure the door is securely closed. If the dryer is overheating, it may stop as a safety measure. Allow it to cool before attempting to restart. If the problem continues, consult a professional technician.
