To clean the lint filter, open the dryer door and locate the filter at the bottom of the door opening. Pull it out, remove the accumulated lint, and wash it with warm soapy water. Allow it to dry completely before reinserting it into the dryer.
First, ensure that the dryer is plugged in and that the circuit breaker is not tripped. Check the door to make sure it is closed securely. Also, verify that the start button is being pressed firmly. If none of these resolve the issue, consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.
Check if the lint filter is clean as a clogged filter can restrict airflow. Additionally, ensure that the vent hose is not kinked or clogged. Overloading the dryer can also cause longer drying times, so try reducing the load size.
To reset the dryer, unplug it from the power source and wait for about 5 minutes. Plug it back in and try to start it again. This can help reset the internal electronics of the dryer.
Regularly clean the lint filter, inspect and clean the vent hose annually, and wipe down the drum and exterior with a damp cloth. Also, ensure the dryer is balanced on a level surface to prevent excessive vibration.
Unusual noises may be caused by coins or other objects caught in the drum or filter. Check for foreign objects and remove them. If the noise persists, inspect the drum belt and rollers for wear or damage.
To minimize wrinkles, promptly remove clothes from the dryer at the end of the cycle, shake them out, and fold or hang them immediately. Use the appropriate drying program for the fabric type and do not overload the dryer.
Ensure the lint filter and vent hose are clear of any blockages. Check the thermostat and cycling thermostat for proper operation. If overheating persists, discontinue use and contact a professional technician for inspection.
It is not recommended to dry shoes in the dryer as it can damage both the shoes and the drum. Instead, air dry the shoes or use a drying rack designed for shoes.
Refer to the user manual for the appropriate drying programs based on fabric type and load size. Use the control dial to select the desired program, and always consider the care labels on your clothing.
