To start a drying cycle, first load your laundry into the drum and close the door. Select the desired drying program using the program selector knob. Press the start button to begin the cycle.
Ensure the dryer is plugged in and the door is properly closed. Check if the start button is pressed firmly. Examine the circuit breaker or fuse box to make sure there is power to the dryer.
Locate the lint filter at the bottom of the door opening. Pull it out and remove any lint build-up. Wash under warm running water if necessary, dry it completely, and place it back into position.
Regularly clean the lint filter after each use. Check and clean the vent system periodically to ensure there are no blockages. Inspect the drum for any foreign objects and keep the exterior clean.
Ensure the dryer is level and stable. Check for any loose objects in the drum or filter. Inspect the drum rollers and belt for wear or damage. If noise persists, contact a professional technician.
Never overload the dryer and avoid drying items that are soaked with flammable substances. Ensure proper ventilation and do not obstruct the airflow. Always unplug the dryer before performing any maintenance.
Check if the selected program is appropriate for the load. Ensure the lint filter and vent system are clean and unobstructed. Verify that the heating element and thermostat are functioning properly.
Promptly remove clothes from the dryer at the end of the cycle. Use lower heat settings for delicate items and consider using the anti-wrinkle or cool down options if available.
Stop using the dryer immediately. Check for any lint build-up, especially around the heating element. Ensure the vent is not blocked. If the smell persists, contact a professional technician.
To reset the dryer, unplug it from the power outlet, wait for about 5 minutes, and then plug it back in. This can help resolve minor electronic glitches.
