To start a drying cycle, load your laundry, close the door, select the desired drying program using the program selector knob, and press the start/pause button to begin.
If the dryer is not heating, check if the lint filter is clean, ensure the machine is not overloaded, verify that the exhaust vent is not blocked, and ensure that the power supply is adequate. If the issue persists, contact customer service.
To clean the lint filter, locate it inside the door, pull it out, remove the lint by hand or using a soft brush, and replace it securely before the next cycle.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lint filter after every use, checking and cleaning the exhaust vent periodically, and ensuring the drum is free of any debris or residue.
Unusual noises might be due to objects trapped in the drum, uneven loading, or a misaligned drum. Ensure the load is balanced and check for any foreign objects inside the drum.
It is not recommended to dry sneakers or shoes in the dryer as this could damage both the footwear and the appliance. Consider air drying or using a designated shoe drying rack if available.
To reset the dryer, turn off the appliance, unplug it from the power supply, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. Turn the dryer on and select the desired program.
To prevent wrinkles, remove clothes promptly after the drying cycle ends, shake them out, and fold or hang them immediately. Using a lower heat setting can also help minimize wrinkles.
Refer to the user manual for guidance on program selection based on fabric type and drying needs. The dryer also features icons on the control panel to help you choose the right program.
Consult the user manual for information on specific error codes and their meanings. Follow troubleshooting steps provided, or contact Candy customer support for assistance if needed.
