To start a drying cycle, load your laundry into the drum, close the door, select the desired drying program using the program selector knob, and press the start button. Ensure the water tank is empty and the filter is clean before starting.
If your dryer is not heating, check if the appliance is plugged in properly, ensure the selected program includes heating, and clean the lint filter. If issues persist, inspect the heating element or contact a professional technician.
To clean the lint filter, open the dryer door and pull out the filter located at the bottom of the door opening. Remove any lint by hand or using a vacuum cleaner. Replace the filter before using the dryer again.
If your dryer takes longer to dry clothes, check for clogged lint filters or exhaust vents. Ensure the load size is appropriate and not overfilled. Additionally, verify that the selected program matches the fabric type and dryness level required.
To prolong the life of your dryer, regularly clean the lint filter and condenser unit, check and clean the moisture sensors, ensure the exhaust duct is unobstructed, and keep the dryer level to prevent unnecessary wear.
To reset the dryer, turn the program selector knob to the off position, unplug the unit from the power socket, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in and select the desired program.
To prevent wrinkles, promptly remove clothes from the dryer at the end of the cycle, shake them out, and fold or hang them immediately. Using the anti-crease function can also help reduce wrinkles.
To use the delay start feature, load the dryer and select your program. Press the delay start button to set the desired delay time. The dryer will start automatically after the selected delay period.
Unusual noises may be caused by loose items in the drum, such as buttons or zippers. Ensure the load is balanced and check for obstructions in the drum or filter area. If the noise persists, contact a service professional.
If an error code is displayed, refer to the user manual for code explanations and troubleshooting steps. If the issue cannot be resolved, contact Candy customer support for assistance.
