To clean the lint filter, open the door and locate the filter at the bottom of the door opening. Pull it out, remove any lint by hand or with a soft brush, and reinsert it before using the dryer again.
First, check if the dryer is properly connected to the power source. Ensure the door is fully closed. If the problem persists, inspect the thermal fuse and heating element for continuity using a multimeter. Replace them if necessary.
To reduce wrinkles, promptly remove clothes from the dryer at the end of the cycle. You can also use the "Anti-Crease" function, if available, which intermittently tumbles clothes after the cycle ends.
Ensure the lint filter is clean and the exhaust vent is not blocked. Overloading the dryer can also cause extended drying times. Reduce the load size and ensure adequate airflow.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lint filter after each use, checking and cleaning the exhaust vent periodically, and wiping the drum and door seal with a damp cloth to remove residue.
To reset the dryer, unplug it from the power source for a few minutes, then plug it back in. This can help resolve minor electronic glitches.
Unusual noises can be caused by foreign objects in the drum or worn drum rollers. Inspect the drum for obstructions and check the rollers for wear. Replace any damaged components.
Not all fabric types are suitable for drying in a tumble dryer. Check garment care labels for drying instructions and use appropriate settings for delicate fabrics.
To improve energy efficiency, clean the lint filter regularly, ensure proper ventilation, avoid overloading, and use sensor drying programs to prevent over-drying.
Error code E21 indicates a problem with the drying sensor. Ensure the sensor is clean and not obstructed. If the error persists, contact a service technician for further diagnosis.
