To start a wash cycle, load your laundry, add detergent, close the door, select the desired program using the program selector dial, and then press the start button.
Check if the machine is plugged in, the door is properly closed, and the water supply is turned on. Also, ensure that you have pressed the start button after selecting a program.
Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it out gently. Wash it under warm water to remove any detergent residue and dry it thoroughly before reinserting it.
It is recommended to clean the filter every month. To do so, open the filter access panel, unscrew the filter cap, and remove any lint or debris. Rinse it under running water before replacing it.
Ensure the washing machine is level by adjusting its feet. Check if the load is balanced and not too heavy on one side. Avoid overloading the machine.
The machine may adjust the cycle time based on the load size and type. Additionally, water pressure and temperature could affect cycle duration.
Distribute clothes evenly around the drum. Avoid overloading to ensure efficient washing and spinning. Use the appropriate program for different fabric types.
Use cold water settings whenever possible, wash full loads, and select shorter cycles for lightly soiled clothes. Regular maintenance also helps maintain efficiency.
Check all water connections and hoses for leaks or damage. Ensure that the filter is properly secured and the door seal is clean and intact.
Run a maintenance wash at least once a month using a high-temperature cycle without laundry, and add a specialized washing machine cleaner to help remove detergent buildup and odors.
