To start a drying cycle, first load your clothes into the drum, close the door securely, select the desired drying program using the program dial, and press the start button.
If the dryer is not heating up, check if the power supply is connected properly. Make sure the selected program includes heating. Also, clean the lint filter and ensure the vent hose is not blocked.
To clean the lint filter, open the dryer door and locate the filter at the bottom of the door opening. Pull it out, remove any lint, and wash it under running water if needed.
If the dryer takes longer to dry clothes, check if the lint filter and vent hose are clean. Overloading the dryer or selecting a low heat setting can also extend drying times.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lint filter after each use, checking and cleaning the vent hose periodically, and wiping the drum and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth.
To prevent clothes from shrinking, select a lower heat setting or use a specific program for delicate fabrics. Always check garment care labels for drying instructions.
If the dryer stops mid-cycle, check if the power supply is intact and if the door is closed properly. Overheating can also cause the dryer to stop; ensure vents and filters are clean.
To adjust the drying time, select a manual program and use the time adjust buttons to set your desired drying duration.
Unusual noises can be caused by objects caught in the drum or loose items. Ensure the dryer is level, and check for any foreign objects inside the drum or filter area.
To improve energy efficiency, always dry full loads, clean the lint filter regularly, use sensor drying programs, and avoid over-drying by selecting appropriate settings for fabric types.
