To reset the Candy CDS 3415X RC dishwasher, press and hold the start button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicators flash. This will reset the current cycle and clear any error messages.
Check the filter and drain hose for blockages. Ensure the drain hose is installed correctly with no kinks. If the problem persists, inspect the drain pump for obstructions.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom dish rack, twist the cylindrical filter counterclockwise, and lift it out. Rinse it under running water to remove debris before replacing it securely.
Residue can be caused by using too much detergent or hard water. Try using less detergent and ensure the rinse aid dispenser is full. Regularly clean the spray arms and filters.
Flashing LED indicators typically signal an error or issue. Refer to the user manual to interpret the specific error code and follow the recommended troubleshooting steps.
It is recommended to clean the spray arms every 1 to 3 months, depending on usage. Remove them and rinse under water, using a brush to clear any clogged holes.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack and small items like cups and glasses on the top rack. Ensure all items are angled to allow water flow and avoid blocking the spray arms.
Check the door seal for damage and ensure it is clean. Inspect the hose connections and tighten if necessary. If leaks persist, consider calling a technician for further inspection.
Use only dishwasher-specific detergents. Avoid using regular dish soap as it can cause excessive sudsing and damage the appliance.
Regularly clean the filter, spray arms, and door seals. Use a dishwasher cleaner monthly to remove limescale and grease. Ensure the water softener is set according to your water hardness level.
