To reset the Candy CDP 95380BPR-80 dishwasher, press and hold the start button for about 5 seconds until the control panel lights turn off and back on again. This indicates that the dishwasher has been reset.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Also, ensure that the filter is clean and free from debris. If the problem persists, inspect the pump and remove any obstructions.
Ensure that the spray arms are not clogged and can rotate freely. Use the correct amount of detergent and check that the water temperature is set to a minimum of 120°F (49°C).
Regularly clean the filter and spray arms. Run an empty cycle with a cup of vinegar or a dishwasher cleaner to remove odors. Ensure that no food debris is left in the dishwasher after each cycle.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack and smaller items such as cups and glasses on the top rack. Ensure dishes do not block the spray arms from rotating.
Remove the bottom rack, twist the filter counterclockwise, and lift it out. Rinse it under running water to remove debris, and replace it by aligning and twisting it clockwise.
Check for obstructions around the door seal or latch area. Ensure that the dishwasher is level and adjust the feet if necessary. If the latch is damaged, it may need replacing.
Unusual noises may be due to items inside the dishwasher rattling against each other or the spray arms. Ensure dishes are properly loaded and not obstructing the spray arms.
Ensure the dishwasher is plugged in and the door is fully closed. Check the circuit breaker and make sure the water supply is turned on. If the issue persists, inspect the control panel for any error codes.
Regularly clean the filter and spray arms, check the door seal for any debris, and run a cleaning cycle with vinegar or a dishwasher cleaner every month to maintain optimal performance.
