To reset your Candy CDI PLAN dishwasher, press and hold the start button for about 5 seconds until the display clears or resets. This will reset the dishwasher's electronics and can resolve minor issues.
First, check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Ensure the sink drain is not clogged and the dishwasher filter is clean. If the problem persists, inspect the drain pump for blockages or call a technician.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom rack, twist and lift out the cylindrical filter, and rinse it under running water. Use a soft brush to remove stubborn debris. Reassemble by placing it back and locking it into place.
Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is full, as rinse aid helps in drying. Also, check the selected program settings, as some eco modes may not dry dishes thoroughly.
Check that the dishwasher is level and that dishes are loaded properly without touching each other. Examine the spray arms for obstructions and ensure they spin freely.
Error code E2 usually indicates a water fill issue. Check if the water supply is turned on and the inlet hose is not kinked. Ensure the water inlet valve is functioning properly.
Regularly clean the filter, inspect and clean the spray arms, wipe the door seals, and run a cleaning cycle with a dishwasher cleaner to maintain optimal performance.
Ensure the door is closed properly and latched. Check if the dishwasher is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Verify that the delayed start feature is not activated.
Use the correct amount of detergent and ensure dishes are not overloaded. Regularly clean the filter and spray arms, and use a dishwasher cleaner monthly to prevent build-up.
Check for obstructions around the door seal and ensure the racks are not blocking the door. Inspect the latch mechanism for damage and ensure it aligns properly.
