To reset the Candy CDI 5015 RC dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for about 3 seconds until the indicator lights turn off. This will reset the dishwasher and clear any error codes.
First, check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Also, inspect the filter and the drain pump for any clogs. Clean them if necessary. Ensure that the sink drain is not blocked.
To clean the filters, remove the lower rack and twist the cylindrical filter counterclockwise to remove it. Rinse it under running water and use a soft brush to remove debris. Reinstall it by twisting it clockwise.
The E4 error code indicates a water overflow issue. Check if the float switch is stuck or if there is too much detergent causing excessive suds. Make sure the dishwasher is level and not overfilled with water.
It is recommended to clean the spray arms every 3 to 4 months. Remove them by unscrewing the retaining nut and rinse them under running water. Use a toothpick to clear blocked holes.
Place larger and more soiled items on the bottom rack, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Place cups and glasses on the top rack. Avoid overcrowding to allow water to circulate freely.
White residue can be caused by hard water. Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled and consider using a dishwasher salt if your model supports it. You might also need to adjust the water hardness setting.
Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is full and set to the appropriate level. Use a high-temperature wash program if available, and open the dishwasher door slightly after the cycle ends to let steam escape.
Check for obstructions around the door seal or latch. Inspect the door gasket for damage or dirt. Ensure that racks are properly aligned and not overfilled.
Regularly clean the filter and check for food debris in the bottom of the dishwasher. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of vinegar to remove odors.
