To reset your Candy CDF622X-80 dishwasher, press and hold the 'Start/Reset' button for about 3 seconds until the lights on the control panel flash. Release the button and allow the dishwasher to complete the reset process.
Check the dishwasher's filter and drain hose for blockages. Clean the filter to remove debris and ensure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. If the problem persists, inspect the drain pump for any obstructions.
Ensure that you are using a rinse aid, as it helps water to sheet off dishes and improves drying. Additionally, select a higher temperature wash cycle and allow the door to open slightly after the cycle to release steam.
Unusual noises can be caused by items that are not secured in the racks or by utensils that are too close to the spray arms. Ensure that all items are properly secured and do not obstruct the spray arms. Check for any loose parts inside the dishwasher as well.
Regularly clean the interior by wiping it down with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar placed in the top rack to remove limescale and odors.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack facing downwards. Smaller items and plates should be placed on the top rack. Ensure that nothing blocks the spray arms and that items are not nested together.
Check the detergent and ensure it is stored properly and not expired. Use a rinse aid to help with residue. Verify that the water temperature is at least 120°F (49°C) for optimal cleaning. Also, ensure the spray arms are not clogged.
Ensure the dishwasher door is fully closed and latched. Check the power supply and circuit breaker. If the dishwasher has a child lock feature, make sure it is deactivated. Finally, try resetting the dishwasher if there are no error codes.
The filter should be cleaned at least once a month to maintain optimal performance. Remove the filter, rinse it under running water, and use a soft brush to remove any trapped debris.
Regularly check and clean the filter, inspect the spray arms for clogs, use dishwasher cleaner to prevent limescale buildup, and ensure the door seals are clean and intact. Schedule professional maintenance annually if possible.
