To reset the Candy CDCP 8 E dishwasher, press and hold the 'Start' button for about 3 seconds until the machine beeps. This will clear any current cycle and reset the dishwasher.
If the dishwasher is not draining water, check the filter and drain hose for blockages. Ensure the drain hose is not kinked and the sink’s drain is clear. Clean the pump and filter if necessary.
To clean the filter, remove the lower dish rack and unscrew the filter from the dishwasher’s base. Rinse it under running water to remove any debris and reassemble it securely before placing the rack back.
Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Check that the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker hasn’t tripped. Also, verify that you have selected a cycle and pressed the 'Start' button.
Check the door gasket for damage and ensure it is clean and properly seated. Inspect the spray arm for cracks or clogs. Verify that dishes are not blocking the door seal and that the dishwasher is level.
The Candy CDCP 8 E dishwasher works best with high-quality dishwasher tablets, powders, or gels. Avoid using regular dish soap as it can cause excessive suds and potentially damage the machine.
To enhance drying, use a rinse aid to prevent water spots and ensure good airflow by spacing dishes properly. Selecting a higher temperature cycle can also aid in better drying results.
Check for foreign objects in the filter or spray arm. Ensure that dishes are not obstructing the spray arms and that they are properly loaded. If the noise persists, inspect the pump and motor for issues.
It is recommended to clean the filter and check the spray arms monthly. Inspect the door gasket and clean the interior every few months to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Ensure that the dishwasher is loaded correctly and not overcrowded. Clean the filter and spray arms to remove any clogs. Use the recommended amount of detergent and the appropriate cycle for the level of soil on the dishes.
