To start a drying cycle, first load your laundry into the drum. Close the door securely, select the desired drying program using the control dial, and press the start button. Make sure the water reservoir is empty and the lint filter is clean for optimal performance.
If the dryer is not heating, check if the power supply is connected and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the selected program requires heat. Also, clean the lint filter and check if the air vent is blocked. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact a technician.
To clean the lint filter, open the dryer door and locate the filter at the bottom edge of the drum opening. Pull out the filter and remove any lint by hand or with a soft brush. Rinse with water if necessary, dry thoroughly, and reinsert it before using the dryer.
If the dryer stops mid-cycle, it could be due to a power interruption, an overheated motor, or a full water reservoir. Ensure the power supply is stable, allow the motor to cool down, and empty the water reservoir if needed. Restart the cycle afterwards.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lint filter after every use, checking and cleaning the condenser unit periodically, and ensuring the air vent is free from obstructions. Inspect the water reservoir and empty it when full.
To adjust the drying time, select a program with time adjustment options. Use the time selector buttons to increase or decrease the drying duration as desired. Refer to the user manual for specific program settings.
Unusual noises may be caused by loose items, an unbalanced load, or foreign objects in the drum. Stop the dryer, check and remove any foreign objects, and ensure the load is balanced. If noise persists, contact a technician.
To prevent wrinkles, promptly remove clothes from the dryer after the cycle ends. Use a lower heat setting and a shorter drying time. Consider using the anti-crease or wrinkle prevention feature if available.
For delicate fabrics, use a program designed for gentle drying, such as a low-temperature setting or a delicate cycle. Always refer to the garment care label and avoid overloading the dryer to ensure gentle handling.
To reset the dryer, turn off the power and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning on the power. Reset any settings and start a new cycle.
