To maintain the chain, regularly clean it with a non-corrosive cleaner, lubricate it with chain oil, and check for proper tension. Adjust the tension using the rear axle adjusters until there is about 1/2 inch of slack.
The recommended tire pressure for the Can-Am Mini DS90 2007 is 4 psi for the front tires and 4 psi for the rear tires. Always check the pressure when tires are cold.
It is recommended to change the engine oil every 50 hours of operation or at least once a year. Use a high-quality 10W-30 or 10W-40 oil suitable for four-stroke engines.
First, check the fuel level and ensure the fuel valve is open. Verify the battery is charged and connections are secure. Inspect the spark plug for wear or fouling and replace if necessary.
To adjust the brakes, locate the brake adjuster nuts on the brake rod. Turn the nuts clockwise to tighten the brakes or counterclockwise to loosen them. Ensure the wheels can rotate freely when not engaged.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol blends greater than 10% to prevent damage to the engine components.
Remove the air filter cover and take out the air filter. Wash it with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and let it dry completely. Apply air filter oil before reinstalling it.
Signs of a worn-out spark plug include hard starting, poor engine performance, and increased fuel consumption. Inspect the spark plug for excessive wear, carbon buildup, or damaged electrodes.
Start by checking the fuses and battery connections. Use a multimeter to test for continuity in the wiring harness. Inspect the ignition switch and handlebar controls for any signs of wear or damage.
Clean the vehicle thoroughly, change the engine oil, and fill the fuel tank with stabilized fuel. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the vehicle to protect it from dust and moisture.
