To adjust the focus, first close your right eye and use the center focus wheel to focus on an object with your left eye. Then close your left eye and adjust the right eyepiece (diopter) for the sharpest image. Open both eyes for a perfectly focused view.
Ensure that the focus is correctly adjusted using the center focus wheel and diopter. Check if the lenses are clean and free from smudges or dirt. If the problem persists, consider checking for internal damage.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a small amount of lens cleaner specifically designed for optics. Gently wipe the lenses in a circular motion to avoid scratches. Avoid using household cleaners or tissues.
A double image often indicates that the binoculars are out of collimation. This requires professional realignment. Contact Bushnell's customer service for repair options.
Store your binoculars in a cool, dry place in their protective case. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity. Use silica gel packs to prevent moisture build-up.
Replace the eyecups by contacting Bushnell for replacement parts. Follow the instructions provided for the specific model to ensure proper installation.
The Bushnell 26-0300 model is not waterproof. Avoid using it in heavy rain. Light rain is usually acceptable if you protect the binoculars with a rain guard or cover.
Use a neck strap or harness designed for binoculars to distribute the weight evenly and reduce strain. Ensure the binoculars are secured in a protective case when not in use.
Look through the binoculars at a distant object. The image should merge into one clear view. If there is a double image or the view is not clear, the binoculars may be out of alignment and need servicing.
Regularly clean the lenses and body with appropriate tools. Check for any loose parts and tighten them if necessary. Store them properly to prevent moisture and dust accumulation.
