To connect your Bose Lifestyle 28 Series II to a TV, use an optical or coaxial cable from the TV's audio output to the Bose media center's corresponding input. Ensure the TV audio settings are set to output through the selected connection.
First, check all cable connections to ensure they are secure. Then, verify that the media center is turned on and not muted. Finally, inspect the speaker wires for any damage or disconnection.
To reset the system, turn off the media center and disconnect it from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds before reconnecting and turning it back on.
Press and hold the "Setup" button on the remote until all five source buttons light up. Enter the code for your device using the number keypad and press "Enter" to save.
Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces of the speakers and media center. Avoid using any harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Check the batteries to ensure they are properly installed and have charge. If the issue persists, try reprogramming the remote or consider a reset.
The system is designed to work with its included speakers, and adding more is not recommended as it may not provide optimal performance.
Software updates are not typically user-installable on this model. Contact Bose support for assistance if you suspect a software issue.
Ensure the disc is clean and free of scratches. Try playing different DVDs to see if the issue persists. If it continues, the lens may need cleaning or service.
Ensure speakers are correctly positioned and calibrated using the ADAPTiQ audio calibration system. Also, check that the audio source is high-quality and connections are secure.
