To start a wash cycle, load your laundry, add detergent, select the desired program using the control dial, adjust settings if necessary, and press the start button.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Ensure the pump filter is clean and not clogged. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact Bosch support.
Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it out and pressing the release lever. Rinse it under warm water to remove any residue and use a brush to clean the compartments.
Select the Eco mode on the program dial to save energy and water. This mode is ideal for lightly soiled laundry, as it uses lower temperatures and longer wash times.
Ensure the washing machine is level by adjusting the feet. Check if the laundry is evenly distributed inside the drum. Overloading can also cause excessive vibrations.
Run a maintenance wash every 30-40 washes using a washing machine cleaner or a hot cycle with detergent to prevent build-up of limescale and detergent residue.
Distribute laundry evenly around the drum, avoiding overloading. Mix small and large items to balance the load, which helps in effective cleaning and spinning.
To reset the machine, turn the dial to the off position, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on. If the error persists, refer to the user manual for specific error codes.
E18 indicates a drain issue. Check the pump filter for obstructions and ensure the drain hose is not blocked. Follow the manual instructions for further troubleshooting.
To activate the child lock, press and hold the 'start' button for a few seconds until the display shows the lock symbol. To deactivate, repeat the process.
