To pair the Beoplay HX with a Bluetooth device, turn on the headphones and press the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds until you see the LED light flash blue. Then, enable Bluetooth on your device and select "Beoplay HX" from the list of available devices.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that the Beoplay HX is in pairing mode. If issues persist, try restarting both devices and make sure the headphones are not connected to another device.
To reset the Beoplay HX to factory settings, press and hold the power button and the volume down button simultaneously for about 8 seconds until the LED flashes red.
To update the firmware, connect your Beoplay HX to the Bang & Olufsen app on your smartphone. The app will notify you if a firmware update is available and guide you through the update process.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the headphones. Avoid using water or cleaning agents. Store the headphones in their case when not in use to protect them from dust and damage.
To optimize battery life, turn off the headphones when not in use and keep them charged regularly. Lowering the volume and disabling active noise cancellation can also help extend battery life.
Check that the headphones are properly connected to your device. Ensure the volume is not muted and that the audio source is playing. If using a wired connection, inspect the cable and connectors for damage.
To activate noise cancellation, press the ANC button on the headphones. You can cycle through noise cancellation modes using the Bang & Olufsen app for further customization.
When connected to your phone, you can take calls by pressing the touchpad on the right earcup. To end a call, press the touchpad again.
A flashing blue LED indicates pairing mode, a steady white LED means the headphones are connected, and a red LED suggests low battery or an error. Refer to the user manual for a detailed LED guide.
