To pair your smartphone, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone. Press and hold the "Phone" button on the unit until "BT Pairing" is displayed. Search for devices on your phone and select "CDE-W296BT" from the list. Enter the passcode "0000" if prompted.
Check the car’s battery connection and ensure the unit is properly connected to the power source. Inspect the fuse in the head unit and replace it if blown. If issues persist, consult a professional technician.
Visit the Alpine website and download the latest firmware for the CDE-W296BT. Transfer the update to a USB drive. Connect the USB to the unit, then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update process.
