To set the temperature, use the control panel located inside the refrigerator. The ideal temperature is 37°F (3°C) for the refrigerator compartment and 0°F (-18°C) for the freezer compartment.
First, check if the vents inside the refrigerator are blocked by food items. Ensure the door seals are clean and intact. If the problem persists, try adjusting the thermostat settings or consult the user manual for additional troubleshooting steps.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6-12 months to ensure optimal performance. Use a vacuum or a soft brush to remove dust and debris.
The AGA ASXS21 Refrigerator is equipped with an automatic defrost system. However, if manual defrosting is needed, remove all food items, unplug the refrigerator, and leave the freezer door open until the ice melts.
Locate the water filter at the top right corner of the refrigerator compartment. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and rotate it clockwise until it is secure. Reset the filter indicator if applicable.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water supply line is connected and not blocked. Check for any ice jams in the ice maker unit. If the problem continues, refer to the troubleshooting section of the manual.
Frost build-up can occur if the freezer door is left open too long or if the door seal is damaged. Check the seal for any gaps and ensure the door closes tightly.
The crisper drawers usually have a slide control to adjust humidity. For vegetables, set to higher humidity, and for fruits, set to lower humidity. Adjust the slide accordingly.
Use a spirit level to check the alignment. Adjust the leveling legs located at the bottom front of the refrigerator by turning them clockwise to raise or counterclockwise to lower until the unit is level.
Ensure the refrigerator is level and not touching the wall or cabinets. Check for any loose parts or objects on top of the unit that may vibrate. Regularly clean the compressor and condenser coils.
