To reset the maintenance light, turn the ignition switch to ON (II) position without starting the engine. Press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel repeatedly until the oil life indicator is displayed. Then, press and hold the SEL/RESET button for about 10 seconds until the indicator begins to blink. Finally, press and hold the SEL/RESET button again for 5 seconds until the oil life resets to 100%.
The 'Check Engine' light indicates that there is an issue with the vehicle's emissions, ignition, fuel systems, or a loose gas cap. It is recommended to check for any loose connections or consult with a professional mechanic to diagnose the problem.
To adjust the dashboard light brightness, locate the brightness control knob on the dashboard. Turn the knob clockwise to increase brightness and counterclockwise to decrease it.
If the dashboard lights are flickering, check the battery connections and alternator for any issues. It is advisable to have a professional inspect the vehicle's electrical system to ensure proper functionality.
To change the language, turn the ignition to the ON position. Use the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel to navigate to the settings menu on the dashboard display. Select the 'Language' option and choose your preferred language.
The TPMS light indicates that one or more tires may be significantly under-inflated, affecting the car's performance and safety. Check the tire pressures and inflate them to the recommended levels as soon as possible.
To check the engine oil level, park the car on a level surface and turn off the engine. Wait for a few minutes, then open the hood and locate the dipstick. Remove the dipstick, wipe it clean, reinsert it fully, then remove it again to check the oil level. It should be between the two marks on the dipstick.
If the 'Battery Charge' warning appears, it suggests an issue with the charging system. Check the battery terminals for corrosion and ensure the alternator belt is intact. If the problem persists, seek assistance from a qualified technician.
To connect via Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone. On the TSX dashboard, navigate to the Bluetooth settings and select 'Add Device.' Follow the prompts to pair your smartphone with the vehicle system.
If the dashboard display is not turning on, check the fuse associated with the dashboard. Also, ensure the battery is charged and the ignition is in the proper position. If the issue persists, professional inspection may be necessary.
