Acura TLX Lane Keeping Assist System 2015 Manual

To activate the LKAS, press the MAIN button on the steering wheel. Then, press the LKAS button. Make sure the lane markings are visible and the system icon appears on the dashboard.
The LKAS requires clear lane markings on both sides of the lane, a speed between 45-90 mph, and no sharp curves or severe weather conditions to function properly.
Inconsistent detection can occur due to poor lighting, faded or missing lane markings, or adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain or fog.
The LKAS provides mild steering assistance to help keep the vehicle centered in the lane but does not replace the need for active driver steering input.
To temporarily disable the LKAS, simply press the LKAS button on the steering wheel again. This will turn off the system until it is reactivated.
If the LKAS warning light turns on, check the system for any obstructions or dirt on the camera and sensors. If the light remains on, visit your Acura dealership for a diagnostic check.
The LKAS is designed for highways and well-marked roads. It may not function effectively on unmarked or poorly maintained roads.
Regularly clean the windshield and the area where the camera is located. Ensure there is no accumulation of dirt or debris on the sensors.
If you remove your hands from the steering wheel for an extended period, the system will issue a visual and auditory warning to remind you to keep your hands on the wheel.
The sensitivity of the LKAS can be adjusted in the vehicle settings menu. Refer to your owner's manual for specific instructions on adjusting the system settings.
