To reset the maintenance light, turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine, press the "Home" button on the steering wheel, navigate to "Settings" using the central dial, select "Vehicle," then "Maintenance Info," and finally select "Reset." Confirm the reset when prompted.
The tire pressure warning light indicates that one or more of your tires may be under-inflated. Check the tire pressures and inflate them to the recommended levels found on the driver's door jamb sticker.
To pair your phone, enable Bluetooth on your device, press the "Phone" button on the TLX dashboard, select "Yes" to add a new device, and follow the prompts on your phone and the vehicle's display to complete the pairing process.
The check engine light can illuminate for various reasons, such as a loose gas cap, faulty oxygen sensor, or other engine issues. It's recommended to use an OBD-II scanner to retrieve the error codes or have a professional diagnose the issue.
To adjust the dashboard light brightness, locate the dimmer switch on the left side of the dashboard near the headlight controls. Turn the switch up or down to adjust the brightness to your preference.
If the navigation system is unresponsive, try restarting the vehicle. If the issue persists, ensure the system software is up-to-date. As a last resort, disconnect the car battery for a few minutes to reset the system, but be aware this may reset other settings.
To access trip computer information, use the steering wheel controls to navigate through the driver's information interface. Select the "Trip" option to view fuel economy, trip distance, and other relevant data.
The VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) light indicates a problem with the stability control system. If the light remains on, it may require professional inspection to ensure the system functions properly.
To enable cruise control, press the "MAIN" button on the steering wheel to activate the system. Then, accelerate to the desired speed and press the "SET" button. Adjust the speed using the "RES/+" and "SET/-" buttons as needed.
First, check if the audio system is muted or if the volume is low. Verify that all cables and connections are secure. If the problem persists, try resetting the system by pressing and holding the power button for a few seconds. If issues continue, consult a professional for further diagnosis.
