To adjust the temperature, use the temperature control knobs located on the center console. Turn the knob to the right to increase the temperature and to the left to decrease it.
First, ensure that the temperature setting is appropriately high and the fan speed is adjusted. Check if the air vents are open and not blocked. If the problem persists, it may require a system check or software update by an authorized Acura service center.
Press the 'SYNC' button on the climate control panel to deactivate the dual-zone feature. Adjust the passenger's side temperature control to set a different temperature from the driver's side.
This may be due to mold or mildew buildup in the system. Replace the cabin air filter and use an HVAC cleaner to eliminate odors. Regular maintenance can prevent this issue.
Set the climate control to the defog mode, increase the fan speed, and adjust the temperature to a warmer setting. Make sure the air recirculation feature is turned off.
The climate control system requires the vehicle to be in at least the accessory mode to operate. Turn the ignition to accessory or on mode to use the system.
The 'Auto' button automatically adjusts the fan speed, air distribution, and temperature to reach and maintain the desired cabin temperature set by the user.
To reset the system, turn off the engine and restart it. If the issue persists, check the vehicle's manual for any troubleshooting steps specific to your model or consult a certified Acura technician.
Some noise is normal due to the fan operation and air distribution. However, if you hear unusual sounds like rattling or hissing, it may indicate an issue that requires inspection.
The cabin air filter should be replaced every 12,000 to 15,000 miles, or once a year, depending on driving conditions and environment. Check the owner's manual for specific recommendations.
