The 2020 Acura NSX is equipped with several advanced safety features, including a multi-angle rearview camera, Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control, and an advanced airbag system. It also includes a Tire Pressure Monitoring System and LED daytime running lights for enhanced visibility.
If the airbag indicator is malfunctioning, first check the vehicle's electrical system and fuses. Ensure there are no loose connections. If the problem persists, it's recommended to have a certified technician diagnose the issue as it might be related to the airbag sensor or control module.
It's advisable to check the tire pressure at least once a month and before long trips. Ensure tires are cold when checking, and use the recommended tire pressure levels found in the owner’s manual or on the door jamb.
Regular maintenance for the brake system includes inspecting brake pads and rotors every 15,000 miles or as indicated in the owner’s manual. Brake fluid should be replaced every 3 years regardless of mileage.
The Vehicle Stability Assist system is automatically enabled when the vehicle is started. If you need to disable it for any reason, such as when the vehicle is stuck in mud, you can press the VSA OFF button on the dashboard.
If the TPMS warning light is illuminated, check the tire pressures and inflate them to the recommended levels. If the light remains on after adjusting the pressures, there may be a malfunction in the system, and a dealer should inspect it.
Regularly inspect seatbelts for any signs of wear or damage. Test the retractors by pulling the belts out fully and letting them retract. If any belt does not retract smoothly or shows damage, it should be replaced immediately.
To replace the wiper blades, lift the wiper arms away from the windshield and press the release tab on the blade assembly. Slide the old blade off and attach the new one by sliding it into place until it clicks securely. Lower the wiper arms back onto the windshield.
To reset the maintenance reminder light, turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine. Use the steering wheel buttons to navigate to the maintenance menu, and select the reset option. Confirm the reset by following the prompts on the display.
First, ensure the camera lens is clean and free of debris. Check the connections to the camera system for any loose or damaged wires. If the issue persists, consult with a dealer as the problem may be related to the display unit or camera system itself.
