Ensure the vehicle is in Sport+ or Track mode, come to a complete stop, press the brake pedal firmly, then fully depress the accelerator pedal. Release the brake when ready to launch.
The engine must be at operating temperature, the battery must be adequately charged, and the vehicle should be on a level surface.
Launch Control can be used multiple times but should be allowed to cool down between uses to prevent drivetrain stress.
Check if the vehicle is in Sport+ or Track mode, ensure all doors are closed, and verify that the vehicle is on a flat surface.
Using Launch Control as intended by the manufacturer does not void the warranty, but excessive use might lead to wear not covered under warranty.
It is recommended to maintain the manufacturer’s specified tire pressure for optimal performance and safety.
While technically possible, it is not recommended to use Launch Control in wet conditions due to reduced traction and increased risk of loss of control.
Regular maintenance checks, adhering to service schedules, and avoiding excessive use will help maintain the system's longevity.
Occasionally, performance updates may be available. It’s best to consult with your Acura dealer for any available software updates.
Ensure the road is clear, avoid using in residential areas, and always maintain control of the vehicle. Passengers should be informed of the acceleration force.
