To fold down the second-row seats, locate the release lever on the side of the seat. Pull the lever, and the seat will fold forward. Ensure there are no obstructions before folding.
Check for any debris or objects obstructing the locking mechanism. If clear, try adjusting the seat back and forth to ensure the latch engages properly. Consult your owner's manual if issues persist.
Use the handle located under the front of the seat cushion. Lift the handle and slide the seat forward or backward to your desired position, then release the handle to lock it into place.
Use a vacuum to remove loose dirt and debris. For fabric seats, use a mild upholstery cleaner and a soft brush. For leather seats, use a leather cleaner and conditioner. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
Position the child seat in the desired seating position. Use the LATCH system anchors located between the seat cushion and backrest. Secure the top tether strap to the anchor point on the back of the seat. Refer to both the vehicle and child seat manuals for detailed instructions.
Unusual noises may be due to a loose seat latch or track debris. Check for proper locking of the seat and clean any debris from the tracks. Tighten any loose components if necessary.
The second-row seats are designed to fold but not easily removable. Removing them may require tools and could affect safety features. Consult a professional if removal is necessary.
Pull the release lever on the side of the second-row seat to fold and slide it forward. This will allow easier access to the third row.
Check the fuse related to seat heating in the fuse box. If the fuse is intact, verify the seat heater switch is operational. If problems persist, the heating element may need inspection by a professional.
To adjust the headrests, pull them up to raise. To lower, press the release button on the side of the headrest post and push down. Adjust to ensure proper comfort and safety.
