To reset the maintenance light, turn the ignition switch to the ON position. Press the SEL/RESET button on the steering wheel until the oil life is displayed. Press and hold the SEL/RESET button for 10 seconds, then release. Finally, select 'Reset' using the arrow keys and confirm by pressing SEL/RESET again.
First, ensure your phone is compatible with the Acura Bluetooth system. Restart your phone and the car. If the issue persists, delete the phone from the system and pair it again. Check for any updates to your phone's software that might affect Bluetooth functionality.
To improve fuel efficiency, ensure regular maintenance such as oil changes and air filter replacements. Keep tires inflated to the recommended pressure. Avoid aggressive driving habits and use cruise control on highways. Remove any unnecessary weight from the vehicle.
To replace the key fob battery, use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the fob case. Remove the old battery and insert a new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive side faces up. Snap the fob case back together and test the functionality.
To adjust the rear climate control, use the rear temperature control buttons located in the rear of the center console. Alternatively, you can adjust the settings from the front controls by selecting the REAR option on the climate control panel and using the main display to adjust settings.
If the navigation system is not responding, first try restarting the vehicle. Check for any available software updates. If the issue persists, disconnect the battery for a few minutes to reset the system. If problems continue, consult a dealership as there might be a hardware issue.
To connect your phone, turn on Bluetooth in your phone's settings. On the MDX's display, select 'Phone', then 'Add Bluetooth Device'. Follow the prompts to search for devices and select your phone when it appears. Confirm the connection by matching the PIN on both devices.
The check engine light can be triggered by various issues such as a loose gas cap, faulty oxygen sensor, or mass airflow sensor problems. It's best to use an OBD-II scanner to read the error codes or visit a professional mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue.
To replace the air filter, open the hood and locate the air filter box. Unclip the latches or unscrew the screws holding the box cover. Remove the old filter and insert a new one, ensuring it is seated properly. Reattach the box cover securely.
Adjust the seat, mirrors, and steering wheel to your preferred position. Press and hold the 'SET' button on the door panel until you hear a beep, then press the memory button (1 or 2) you want to assign. Repeat the process to set the second memory position.
