To reset the maintenance light, turn the ignition to the "ON" position. Press the "Select/Reset" button until the oil life indicator is displayed. Hold down the "Select/Reset" button for about 10 seconds until the oil life begins to blink. Release and press the button again for another 5 seconds, and the maintenance light will reset.
A flashing check engine light generally indicates a severe engine misfire, which can cause damage to the catalytic converter. It is advised to reduce speed and seek immediate diagnostic assistance from a professional mechanic.
First, ensure that the Bluetooth feature is activated on both your phone and the vehicle. Delete any previously paired devices on the car's system and your phone. Re-pair the devices by following the pairing instructions in the vehicle’s manual. If issues persist, check for software updates for both the vehicle and your phone.
The TPMS light indicates that one or more tires are significantly under-inflated. Check the tire pressures using a gauge and inflate them to the recommended levels found on the driver’s door jamb. If the light remains on after correcting the pressure, there may be a sensor issue that requires professional inspection.
To change the dashboard display language, access the "Settings" menu on the dashboard. Navigate to "System Settings" and then to "Language". Select your preferred language from the available options. Confirm the selection to update the display language.
If the dashboard screen is not turning on, check the vehicle's fuse box for any blown fuses associated with the infotainment system. If fuses are intact, try resetting the system by restarting the vehicle. If the problem persists, there may be a deeper electrical issue requiring professional diagnostics.
To update the navigation system, visit the Acura navigation update website to purchase the latest map update. Follow the instructions provided to download the update onto a USB drive. Insert the USB drive into the vehicle's USB port and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
The "VSA" light stands for Vehicle Stability Assist. When this light is on, it indicates that the system is either actively working to maintain vehicle stability or there is a fault. If the light remains on, a system diagnostic check is recommended to ensure proper functionality.
To improve fuel efficiency, ensure your tires are properly inflated, remove unnecessary weight from the vehicle, and maintain a steady speed. Use cruise control where possible and avoid rapid acceleration and hard braking. Regular maintenance such as oil changes and air filter replacements can also aid in better fuel efficiency.
A "Battery Charge Low" warning indicates that the battery may not be charging properly. Check the battery terminals for corrosion and ensure the alternator is functioning correctly. If the issue persists, have a mechanic test the battery and charging system to identify the underlying problem.
