To reset the dashboard display, press and hold the power button until the system restarts. Alternatively, you can reset via the settings menu under 'System Settings'.
First, try restarting the system. If the issue persists, check the navigation DVD for scratches or dirt and clean it if necessary. If problems continue, a software update may be required.
Software updates can be performed by visiting an authorized Acura dealership. They will have the latest software version necessary for your dashboard.
Screen flickering can be caused by a loose connection or a software glitch. Check all cable connections behind the dashboard and ensure they are secure. If the issue persists, consult a technician.
To connect your phone, enable Bluetooth on your device, then navigate to Bluetooth settings on the dashboard, and select 'Add New Device'. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your phone.
To adjust the clock, go to the settings menu, select 'Clock Settings', and manually set the correct time. Ensure the 'Daylight Saving Time' option is set correctly if applicable.
Check if the volume is muted or set too low. Ensure all audio cables are properly connected. If using Bluetooth, make sure the device is properly paired and connected.
You can adjust the brightness by accessing the 'Display Settings' in the dashboard's main menu and using the brightness slider to your preferred setting.
To perform a factory reset, navigate to 'System Settings', select 'Factory Data Reset', and follow the prompts. Note: This will erase all custom settings and return the system to default.
First, clean the screen to ensure there are no obstructions. Then, restart the system. If it remains unresponsive, a system reset or a trip to a technician may be needed.
