The "TPMS" warning light indicates that one or more of your tires may be significantly under-inflated. Check the tire pressures and inflate them to the recommended levels found on the driver's side door jamb.
To adjust the brightness of the dashboard lights, locate the brightness control knob, which is usually found on the dashboard near the steering wheel. Turn the knob clockwise to increase brightness and counterclockwise to decrease it.
The engine oil pressure warning light indicates that your engine's oil pressure is low. Stop the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do so and check the oil level. Add oil if necessary and consult a mechanic if the light remains on.
To connect your phone via Bluetooth, enable Bluetooth on your phone and ensure it is discoverable. On the ILX's display, go to the Bluetooth settings and select "Add Bluetooth Device." Follow the prompts to pair your phone with the vehicle.
The ECON button optimizes the engine and other systems for improved fuel efficiency. When activated, it adjusts the throttle response, air conditioning, and cruise control to save fuel.
To use the cruise control, press the "CRUISE" button on the steering wheel to turn the system on. Accelerate to your desired speed, then press the "SET" button. Use the "RES/ACCEL" and "DECEL" buttons to adjust the set speed.
The battery warning light indicates a problem with the vehicle's charging system. Check the battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections, and ensure the alternator belt is intact. If the issue persists, have a mechanic inspect the charging system.
To change the cabin air filter, open the glove box and remove the damper arm. Squeeze the sides of the glove box to lower it completely. Locate the cabin filter cover, release the clips, and remove the old filter. Insert the new filter and replace the cover and glove box.
The VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist) warning light indicates an issue with the stability control system. If the light remains on, it may mean the system is malfunctioning. Drive cautiously and have your vehicle inspected by a professional.
