Yamaha recommends using unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 91 (RON) for optimal performance and engine health.
It is recommended to change the engine oil every 10 hours of riding or after every race to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the engine.
The recommended tire pressure is 15 psi (103 kPa) for both the front and rear tires. Adjust the pressure according to the terrain and riding conditions.
To adjust the suspension, use the suspension clickers located on the forks and shock. For softer terrain, reduce compression damping and increase rebound damping. For harder terrain, increase compression and reduce rebound damping.
Check the fuel supply, ensure the battery is charged, inspect the spark plug for fouling, and verify that the kill switch is not engaged. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
Clean the air filter every 2 to 3 rides or more frequently in dusty conditions. A clean air filter ensures proper air flow and engine performance.
The recommended chain slack is 30-40 mm. Adjust the chain tension by loosening the axle nut and turning the adjuster bolts equally on both sides.
Check tire pressure, inspect brakes and throttle for proper function, ensure the chain is lubricated and properly tensioned, and verify fluid levels such as oil and coolant.
For the first 1 hour, avoid prolonged full-throttle operation and vary the engine speed. Change the oil and filter after the initial break-in period to remove any contaminants.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain a clean air filter, ensure the correct tire pressure, perform regular maintenance, and ride at moderate speeds.
