It is recommended to use Yamalube 10W-40 Performance All Purpose oil or any high-quality 10W-40 motor oil that meets the API service classification SG or higher.
Regular maintenance checks should be performed every 6 months or 100 hours of operation, whichever comes first. However, refer to the owner's manual for specific intervals for different components.
Check the battery connections for corrosion and ensure they are tight. Verify that the fuel is fresh and the fuel pump is working. If the problem persists, inspect the starter motor and ignition switch.
Stop the vehicle immediately and let the engine cool down. Check the coolant level and radiator for blockages. Ensure that the cooling fan is operational. If overheating continues, consult a professional mechanic.
Maintain proper tire pressure, regularly clean the air filter, and ensure the fuel injectors are clean. Avoid excessive idling and drive at moderate speeds.
The recommended tire pressure is 7 psi for the front tires and 9 psi for the rear tires. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
Adjust the preload on the shock absorbers to suit the terrain and load. Refer to the owner's manual for specific adjustment procedures and settings.
Inspect the headlight bulbs to ensure they are not burnt out. Check the headlight fuse and replace it if necessary. Examine the wiring connections for any damage or loose connections.
Remove the seat and the air filter cover. Take out the old air filter and replace it with a new one. Ensure the new filter is seated properly before reattaching the cover and seat.
Clean the vehicle thoroughly and change the oil. Add a fuel stabilizer to the tank. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the vehicle to protect it from dust and moisture.
