Yamaha YXE85WPSL, YXE85WPHL, YXE85WPAL, YXE85WPBL Wolverine X2 2020 Manual

For the Yamaha Wolverine X2 2020 models, it is recommended to use Yamalube 10W-40 Performance All Purpose oil, or any API service SG type or higher motor oil.
The air filter should be inspected every 160 miles (250 km) or 20 hours of operation and cleaned or replaced as necessary. Operating conditions may require more frequent maintenance.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 12 psi and for the rear tires is 12 psi as well. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
If the Wolverine X2 2020 won't start, check the battery connections, ensure the fuel level is adequate, inspect the spark plug for fouling, and ensure the engine kill switch is in the correct position.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 160 miles (250 km) or 20 hours of operation, including oil changes, air filter inspection, and brake system checks. Refer to the owner's manual for a detailed maintenance schedule.
To adjust the suspension, use the preload adjuster on the shocks to increase or decrease spring tension. For rough terrain, a softer setting may be preferred, while a stiffer setting is better for smooth surfaces.
If the check engine light illuminates, stop the vehicle safely and inspect for obvious issues such as low oil or coolant levels. If the problem persists, consult a Yamaha dealer for diagnostic testing.
Yamaha recommends using unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 and a maximum ethanol content of 10%. Avoid using fuels with more than 10% ethanol to prevent engine damage.
For long-term storage, clean the vehicle thoroughly, change the oil, add fuel stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and store in a dry, covered location. Periodically check and maintain the vehicle during storage.
If the brakes feel spongy, check the brake fluid level and inspect the brake lines for leaks. Air in the brake lines or worn brake pads may also cause this issue and should be addressed promptly.
