Use Yamalube 10W-40 Performance All Purpose Oil or a similar high-quality 10W-40 oil that meets or exceeds the API service classification.
Change the oil and oil filter every 3,200 kilometers (2,000 miles) or every 6 months, whichever comes first.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tires is 12 psi and for the rear tires is 10 psi.
Check the battery connections, ensure the fuel tank has gas, inspect the spark plug for wear or damage, and make sure the kill switch is in the 'run' position.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, clean it with compressed air if it's dirty or replace it if necessary, and reinstall it securely.
Check the coolant level, inspect the radiator for blockages, ensure the radiator fan is functioning, and verify that the engine oil level is adequate.
Check the brake fluid level, inspect for air in the brake lines, and bleed the brakes if necessary to remove any trapped air.
Clean the UTV thoroughly, change the oil, fill the gas tank and add a fuel stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and store it in a cool, dry place with a cover.
Loosen the drive belt tensioner lock nut, adjust the tensioner to achieve the correct belt deflection (usually about 10mm), and retighten the lock nut.
Conduct regular maintenance checks, keep the air filter clean, ensure proper tire pressure, use recommended oils and fluids, and keep the vehicle properly tuned.
