To perform an oil change, warm up the engine, place the scooter on a stand, remove the oil filler cap, and drain bolt. Allow the oil to completely drain, replace the drain bolt, and fill with the recommended oil type.
Use a high-quality ethylene glycol-based coolant with corrosion inhibitors. Ensure it is specifically designed for aluminum engines.
The air filter should be inspected every 4,000 miles and replaced if necessary. Replacement is typically recommended every 12,000 miles.
The recommended tire pressure is 33 psi for the front tire and 36 psi for the rear tire. Always check the pressure when the tires are cold.
Check the battery charge and connections, inspect the starter motor, and ensure the fuel system is functioning properly. If problems persist, consult a professional mechanic.
Regularly check brake fluid levels, inspect brake pads for wear, and ensure the brake lines are free of leaks. Bleed the brakes as needed.
The rear suspension can be adjusted by turning the spring preload adjuster. Use the appropriate tool to increase or decrease the preload according to your weight and riding style.
If overheating occurs, stop the scooter immediately and allow it to cool. Check the coolant level and inspect for leaks. Ensure the radiator fan is operational.
Remove the spark plug cap and use a spark plug wrench to unscrew the old plug. Install a new spark plug by hand, then tighten with the wrench. Reattach the spark plug cap securely.
Clean the scooter thoroughly, change the oil, fill the gas tank, and add a fuel stabilizer. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place. Cover the scooter to protect it from dust and moisture.
