The Yamaha YJ125S Vino 125 requires unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 86.
It is recommended to change the engine oil every 1,000 miles or 1,600 kilometers, or at least once a year if you ride less frequently.
The recommended tire pressure for the front tire is 26 psi and for the rear tire is 29 psi. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold.
First, check the battery for charge and connections. Ensure the fuel valve is open and there's adequate fuel. Verify the spark plug condition and replace if necessary.
Regular maintenance includes checking and changing the oil, inspecting brakes and tires, checking the battery, and cleaning the air filter. Refer to the owner's manual for a detailed schedule.
The idle speed can be adjusted by turning the idle screw on the carburetor. It should be set to around 1,500 to 1,700 RPM. Refer to the manual for specific instructions.
If the engine overheats, stop the scooter immediately and let it cool down. Check coolant levels and ensure the radiator is not blocked. Consult a mechanic if the problem persists.
Maintain proper tire pressure, perform regular maintenance, avoid excessive idling, and ride at moderate speeds to improve fuel efficiency.
To replace the spark plug, first remove the spark plug cap and use a spark plug socket to unscrew the plug. Install a new plug by threading it by hand, then tighten it with the socket. Ensure it is properly gapped.
